From June Rose’s personal collection, we have here an authentic 1940’s era tweed blazer. It is the cutest blazer ever! Pairs as well with business attire as it does casual., and any look in between. So sad to see it go, but have grown out of it, literally! Booo! It is a chocolate brown and ivory tweed with a chocolate brown silk lining. It has 4 same-fabric buttons (the very top one is missing) and a hidden snap under the gorgeous collar. As the tag says, it was handmade by Loong Loong from Modern Silk Shop in Singapore, before it had claimed its independence. So beautifully made, it is in excellent condition for its age and has plenty of wear left. Aside from the missing button, it has only been mended at the interior arm seams. Otherwise, in absolutely beautiful condition!
