Vintage Late 1960’s Levis Troy Blanket Lined Trucker Denim Jacket

Description: Levi’s Denim Blanket lined Type 3 vintage trucker jacket. Note the red, circle R tab that DOES NOT have the Levi’s lettering. This is a VERY rare version without the actual Levi’s name stitched on the red tab. There were only approximately 1 in 10 red tabs used that were circle R WITHOUT Levi’s lettering. This was done to trademark the actual red tab itself. This prevented other manufacturers from using a red tab with no name lettering. This is very rare in collectable Levi’s jackets of this type. This jacket is in excellent condition. The denim is still very stiff and rich blue. This jacket was purchased new in the late 1960’s or early 1970’s and is still in possession of the family that made the original purchase at that time. This jacket was worn very little and spent virtually its entire life in the closet of the original purchaser in a climate controlled home its entire life up to this point. The size marking numbers on the neck label have the ink worn off the lettering and numbers and is very hard to read. I do not know the item number. However this jacket is most likely a medium, I cannot guarantee the size, but it is on the smaller end of the spectrum. The original owner was of smaller stature. The buttons are stamped 526 on the back. As this jacket is still in the possession of the original family that purchased it new in late 1960’s/early 1970’s, I can GUARANTEE this example is 100% vintage, unaltered, authentic Levi’s made in USA merchandise as described above.
