Description: Description: This is a vintage enlarged glossy photo (9 5/8" x 6 1/4") reprint of an original Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) featuring three school teachers from Nome, North Dakota, circa 1910-1912. The women pictured are Ragna Lund Plomasen (top), Emma Torbenson Maasjo (center), and Bessie Furgeson (bottom). Ragna Lund Plomasen was born on July 8, 1889, in Valley City, Barnes, Dakota Territory, and passed away on August 15, 1971, in Norwalk, Los Angeles, California. Emma Torbenson Maasjo was born on March 14, 1888, in Glencoe, McLeod County, Minnesota, and passed on August 9, 1971, in Valley City, Barnes County, North Dakota. She is buried at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Valley City. Bessie Furgeson – no additional information is available. Each teacher is dressed in period attire with high-collared blouses and modest hairstyles, showcasing the early 20th-century style and professionalism of educators during that time. Condition: The WATERMARK is only on the picture on ebay and not on the original. Very good condition with minor scratching and light wear around the edges and corners. There is a faint paper clip indentation in the top left corner area. The exact age of this reprint is unknown. Nome, North Dakota is a small rural community established in 1900 in Barnes County. Originally a railroad town, Nome became a hub for local agriculture and trade in the early 20th century, supporting nearby farming communities.
