Description: I bought this spindle from a Shopmaster Mill Turn vendor in hopes of making a vertical milling head attachment for my horizontal mill. I was planning on creating a housing assembly for the spindle. However, I then ended up buying a Bridgeport Mill, and ended up never using this spindle. This 10binch long spindle comes with information that the spindle manufacturer originally gave me (see last pic). It is in brand new condition, but has cosmetic imperfection to its finish (see pics) that do not affect its performance. I wanted to show pics of the bearings on the spindle, but that would require either freezing the spindle or heating the bearings, which I didn't feel like doing. Awesome rare spindle for someone who owns a Shopmaster mill turn or for someone wanting to make a custom r8 milling head. Thank you.
