Description: Lots of info, please read but first, grab a drink, have a seat, youre gonna be here awhile, lol......Im revising this listing & adding some new pics. Some pics were taken 10/5, some on 10/20. These babies (pic 1) pics taken 11/10, if you want to see a particular plant you want to buy I'll send you a pic of that precise plant...These plants grow fast & I can't keep up with their growth so I hope I don't confuse you.....I've been taking care of these now for a couple months after a couple years of neglect...... What i have for you is Picture 1 only, baby bulbs, I finally separated that big bowl (pic9) & I found all these in the soil, taken on Nov 10..I'll send in moist paper towel & baggie... I have several that are 2"+ BEAUTIFUL Pregnant Onion plant that has been in recovery for 5 mos (like most).... amazing what a lilbit of love can do!.....the 2" bulbs have long leaves that are anywhere from 12-30" long, i do trim them...... Altho I display several different pics with several different size bulbs, please know that the size of the bulb does not necessarily reflect the age or the length of its leaves....I will try my hardest to avoid crimping the leaves, I might be able to roll them, its difficult to package them......I will ship in a box & ship as lil soil as i can get away with....in other pictures I show that one baby has sprouted in a salsa takeout container (pic11), then I have a bowlful(pic9) of onions that have grown connected so ill had to break them up and repot, the bigger bulbs will take long time after that before the bulb will restore its round shape.......If the bulb you receive has babies please keep in mind that they are SO ready to leave the nest that they are falling off the momma bulb, some more than others. I can't guarantee how many baby's will still be on the momma but if they fall off, they will be in the paper towel wrapping, don't toss it until you shake it out..... Easy to grow, plant sits on top of soil, if you put the bulb (momma) too deep in soil it will wither, if you overwater the bulb it begins to wrinkle....they populate very fast...you can take a baby & put rootside down and wait a week & you will have sprouts out both ends.....It loves indirect sunlight and tolerates temps well....the long whip like strap leaves can grow 5 feet long....The pregnant onion plant is a droopy type plant...The higherit hangs the longer the "whip like straps leaves" will grow. it will become top heavy, so make sure that pot is secure... TMI here!..Pics 17-22 are pics that explains this stupid thing I did...Not long ago, I found a mama bulb that had fallen behind my big plants for couple yrs, (hell, I got so many i never missed it & besides, it was kinda like outta sight outta mind!). When I brought it out, the leaves were so long & it was top heavy so I placed the plant down into a box where the flaps would help support its long leaves by laying them on the flaps (which btw, I thought was a great idea). I took pics and walked off, got busy doin something else, well...i forgot the plant sitting there & soon as I remembered the next day I took off running, too late, it had gotten pure summer hot sun for bout 3 full hours, well the cardboard flaps got so hot that the leaves got fried, I had to cut majority off, I was so pissed & sad.....i wished i had jus left it alone... evidently living back there with only a spray while watering my other plants was enough to keep it alive while being unnoticed....the weirdest thing was the size bulb was really small (pic19) & yet it had super long healthy leaves...it was crazy exciting!.....the bulb is still in recovery but i think it got sunburnt too so it might not ever come back...... ANYWAYS..I have lots in all different sizes!!....if you have any questions jus ask...I'm only speaking from experience & I've grown all types of plants inside & out....I had at one time 83 houseplants, my collection was absolutely beautiful, I think houseplants make a house a home. That was years ago and now I no longer have most of them.....
