Whistles where introduced in 1979 and the idea of making a lot of characters as whistles was born. The following year, Merry Music Makers were introduced with a Lamb, Duck, Rooster, Dog, Pig, Donkey, Camel, Clown, and Rhino. In 1981, Frog, Owl, Koala, and Panda were added to the list. Thin Feet were added in 1987. Thick feet were added in 1990. As 4.9 stems were being added at the end of 1990, new MMM designs came out in 1991, including Indian, Monkey, Parrot, Penguin, Tiger, and a redesign of Panda (B). The MMM's were shifted from Austria to Yugoslavia in 1991. In 1993, the country name changed to Slovenia. In 1995, production of remaining MMM's was shifted to Hungary before retiring the series in 1998. This listing is for one of the Merry Music Makers (MMM) issued between 1979 and 1998. Some characters and colors may not be currently available. More character and color combinations are in existence than shown in the picture. Use the pull down menu to select from available Colors.
