Okay, for starters, I would definitely keep this necklace for myself if I were in a different position. It is amazing and such rich colors and high quality glass bead work. The clasp is stamped 585 which is 14k for those who don’t know that. The necklace is hand-knotted between each bead for safety, security and style. This adds to the display of workmanship. I am not a Murano glass expert and can’t determine if the necklace is vintage or a newer piece. All I know is that the estate in which it came from had some amazing jewelry. Perhaps some of you folks may know. I was unable to find anything quite like it on the internet. I did find some necklaces with some foiled beads, but nothing quite like the blue beads and artwork in/on them. I did not clean or polish the necklace at all. I am not sure the proper way to do so and didn’t want to damage the beads or what they are strung on with harsh cleaners, so I will leave that up to you.
