Mopar Perf. Valve Cover 3/16" ALUMINUM Spacer Exhaust Manif. Gasket Kit 383 440

Description: Running MP cast aluminum valve covers on a big block 383 or 440 with HP exhaust manifolds? Passenger side V/C was hard to get on and no clearance to exhaust manifold? Tired of burnt up valve covers and gaskets, high oil temperature or grinding down these hard to find MP valve covers? When installed, this kit gives you an approx. 0.188" air gap clearance. V/C have enough clearance to get them on and off and to access the bolts. No warping or pinching the V/C's! Just sandwich the spacer between they two gaskets, the one with the H/S goes on the exhaust side. Please be aware that you need to run studs on the HP manifolds and that you need at least 1-1/16 of the stud exposed. You're buying a 0.188" thick aluminum spacer with two gaskets, one of them has a heat shield. This is only one set for the passengers side. Driver's side has enough clearance nevertheless.
