Marconi was, effectively, a subsidiary of the Rolex brand and the materials used to produce this watch were provided by Hans Wilsdorf's Rolex. This scarce wristwatch was produced prior to the decision to add the word "Rolex" to the dial. This is a manual (wind) wristwatch and the diameter of the case is 30.5mm and the lug width is 16.5mm. This comes with the original, black, braided leather strap stamped "18 GENUINE LEATHER ITALY". This watch is very nice shape with some wear and hairline scratches seen to the case.
