Description: Here is a beautiful Laura Andreson (1902-1999) studio pottery vase with a pale olive green and blue crystalline matte glaze. Hand thrown and made of porcelain clay. It measures 5 1/2 inches high and 6 1/2 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. Signed Laura Andreson and dated 1973 inside the foot. She taught ceramics at the University of California Los Angeles from 1933 to 1970 and was a contemporary of Gertrude and Otto Natzler, Beatrice Wood, and Maija Grotell. An excellent piece of mid-century modern ceramics.
