For your consideration is this extremely durable, HIGH-QUALITY, beautiful looking, authentic, full-grain, BROWN cowhide LEATHER messenger bag, satchel, briefcase with removable/adjustable 24” length leather shoulder strap. I purchased this messenger bag in the early 2000’s and used it until retired. Since I no longer work, I do not have a need to hold on to it. At the time I purchased the bag I think I remember paying over $150.00 for it brand new. The messenger bag satchel remains in very good condition as it was used but never abused. The bag combines the classic retro look with professional sophistication and functionality. The bag is manufactured out of full grain brown pliable cowhide leather and weighs approximately 3.50 pounds by itself. The bag measures approximately 16.0”-17.0" across, 13.0”-14.0" tall and 5.0”-6.0" wide when empty. The bag is expandable and has the flexibility to extend a little wider when filled with your items of choice. The top of the satchel sports a heavy-duty one-piece thick brown leather handle attached to satin pewter colored metal hardware for easy comfortable carry. Refer to description photos #1, #2, #3 and #23 for more details. There is also a removable and/or adjustable brown leather shoulder strap with a wide padded shoulder pad for added comfort. The length of the strap is adjustable and can be extended up to approximately 24.0” in length (drop length). Conversely, the strap can also be easily removed so the bag can be carried in the traditional manner using the single handle. The shoulder strap is secured to each side of the bag with satin pewter colored snap hooks and D-rings. NOTE; FOR SAFE KEEPING, THE SHOULDER STRAP WILL BE SECURED INSIDE THE MESSENGER BAG CENTER COMPARTMENT PRIOR TO SHIPMENT. The front of the bag features a full cover-lap that secures closed with two leather buckle straps that utilize snap-button latches as depicted in description photos #6, #14 and #15. Refer to the description photos for more details about what I have described. The inside of the bag is lined with a brown colored nylon material (smooth like silk). The top of the bag (under the cover flap) features three open compartments. One side has a single divider that actually creates two separate storage compartments as depicted in description photo #7. The second compartment features 12 separate compartments as itemized below. 2 – 5.50” Deep Pen/Pencil Loops/Holders 1 – 3.0” x 5.0” Pocket (checkbook, etc.) 1 – 3.50” x 5.0” clear vinyl ID Pocket Window 6 – Individual Credit Card Storage Slots 1 – 6.0” wide x 7.25” Deep Storage Pocket 1 – 5.25” wide x 7.25” Deep Storage Pocket As illustrated in description photos #10 and #11, the front section of the messenger bag features a zipper on each side (left and right) so the front compartment can be opened wide and laid flat for easy access. The outside front also features yet another approximately 11.0” wide and 7.0” deep zipper closure storage compartment as shown in description photo #6. The messenger bag also provides an approximate 2.75” wide, 5.75” deep and 1.0” thick hook and loop flap closure for storage of your cellphone or other similar size device. Refer to description #5 for more details about the compartment I describe. On the back side of the bag there is a single double hook and loop flap closure storage compartment that features PADDED WALLS walls. The compartment measures approximately 17.0” across, 12.0” deep and can expand up to 3.0-3.50” wide and can easily accommodate your appropriately sized laptop, tablet or other similar electronic device. Overall, if your work requires you to be mobile and you need a means to which you can safely carry a sundry of different items needed to get the job done then this luxurious looking leather messenger bag will work perfectly for you. This preowned bag is a gorgeous looking high-quality full grain genuine cowhide leather business satchel briefcase messenger bag that offers a wide-range of versatility and a multitude of storage space. All the stitching remains tight and all the heavy-duty zippers function flawlessly as designed. As clearly depicted in the description photos, the bag shows a few minor scuff marks and light surface blemishes from honest but gentle use over the years associated with normal carry. If the new owner so desired, I believe the noted surface blemishes can easily be easily mitigated with an application of brown polish or possibly leather conditioner. The aforementioned notwithstanding, in all honesty and in my humble opinion, the messenger bag presents well as is showing real use and age.
