Description: This RARE UNREAD limited leather book set from The Franklin Mint is in NEAR PERFECT condition with no markings inside or out and no attached bookplates. These books are basically untouched. Pages of both volumes are still stuck together at the gilded edges because they've never been separated for the first time after being treated with gold leaf during production. All sides and angles of both volumes are represented in the pictures to facilitate an informed purchase decision. There is one small area on one cover of volume 2 that has some reddishness on the leather. I have zoomed in with a high-resolution picture of this, viewable in the last picture. You can also correlate this zoomed-in picture with the full picture of the cover effected(5th picture) to get a better idea of the significance, or lack thereof. Look towards the middle-right side. Given the overall quality, rarity, and unused condition of this brilliant complete set, I don't personally view this minute imperfection as much of a detriment and wouldn't be pricing it any differently without it.
