This plaque and hanger allows you to change or replace a skull without any damage to your mount. It uses the foramen magnum (the hole in the back of the skull where the brain and spinal cord connect) and a solid 1/8 inch thick piece of steel that is fabricated to the perfect angle to display your trophy. You will not be able to bend the hanger as you can with other flimsy metal hangers. Other plaques require you to drill through the plaque and into the skull and have a certain size screw to go through to permanently attach the skull to the plaque.
