Description: On offer today is a charming antique bear - an early one, c 1910s/20s.He's got chocolate brown mohair fur and amber glass eyes. He has wire jointed arms and legs, but as far as I can tell his head does not turn. he has a 'hump' on his back. MARKS:No marks, buttons or tags.I believe he's a Schuco, going by his shape/construction and the style of his nose/mouth embroidery. CONDITION:He's overall very sturdy, but does have some moth munches - see photos. No scents or odors, very clean! Neck ribbon is a vintage silk replacement (he'd have originally worn a narrow black cotton twill 'ribbon'). MEASUREMENTS:He's 8" tall (standing).
