Description: Van Herp is a beautiful Jacobean pattern that was designed to coordinate with Van Nuys, an elaborate Jacobean floral stripe. This paper features a spring-fresh palette and a hand-painted look sure to brighten any room of your home. Lovely on its own or used with Van Nuys. You can use one on an accent wall with the other on three walls. We also like this one above a chair rail with Van Nuys below. Beautiful with pine, oak, or darker woods, or use with woodwork painted in one of the rose, pink, green, or mauve tones in the paper. Although it varies by number of doors and windows and pattern match, it takes, on AVERAGE, 10 rolls to paper the walls in an 8 x 10 room with 8 ft. high ceilings. The same room with 10 ft. high ceilings would need 12 rolls. To paper the walls of an average 10 x 14 room with 8 ft. ceilings you will need, in general, a minimum of 14 rolls. If you have 10 ft. ceilings and a 16 x 20 room, you will likely need a minimum of 26 rolls. You should use an on-line wallpaper calculator to determine your exact needs. There are several available. I always like to add a roll or two so I have extra just in case I cut a piece incorrectly or for things like lining drawers or shelves, or even papering a closet to match the room.
