Description: 2011 Rutgers Scarlet Knights Game Used Football Helmet! Up for auction is a 2011 Rutgers Scarlet Knights Game Used Football Helmet. This helmet has a reconditioning sticker inside the helmet that states the helmet was reconditioned in 2012, but it was not used after it was reconditioned (Rutgers changed their helmet style for the 2012 season and did not wear the traditional red helmets). With that being said, it's safe to say this helmet was used during the 2011 and prior seasons. This helmet also has a #15 sticker on the inside of the helmet. Gary Nova was the only rostered player in 2011 who wore #15 and he wore this EXACT model helmet. The only thing that is preventing me from stating it is 100% his helmet is the facemask style is different than what he wore. It is likely a different facemask was put on when the helmet was reconditioned. With all of that being said, I am just selling it as a Rutgers Game Used helmet as I can not 100% prove Nova wore it.
