Description: This is a porcelain 1970s 5-in tall glossy white wedding cake topper featuring a bride and groom. It has two small defects in the porcelain, one on each side. I acquired this wedding cake topper along with several others from a retired cake decorator who ran a retail shop in my hometown between the 1960s and the 1990s, working out of her home before and after that time until she could no longer do that type of work. This one has the original made in Taiwan sticker, and the 15.99 retail sticker from her store. And also has pencil writing that says it was turned in for credit. She ordered her cake toppers and supplies from the Wilton catalog: this item was most likely purchased in the 1970s from Wilton, and she received her wholesale credit for the two small defects. These defects are the tiny black dots, one on each side of the figurine. No doubt that happened due to ash or sediment in the kiln when they were fired. I've priced it at the same price that she did back in the 1970s, plus calculated shipping. It will be packed with great care and get to you safely.
